what is meditative art?

Meditative Art is a visual form of expression that can calm the mind and the body through artistic freedom. 

Allowing your mind and body the full awareness of your environment, emotions, and inner dialogues can make Meditative Art an intimate and personal experience. This practice is an invitation to explore the medium that best fits your creative desires and needs for expression. 

This is not a form of art therapy but an exploration of therapeutic and cathartic art mediums. This practice is not to be used as any form of professional diagnosis or treatment. This is purely an exploration of artists seeking to uncover their Truest Self. ​If you are in need of therapy, please seek a licensed medical professional. ​​

ABout Jess

My name is Jess and I'm a certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach, yoga practitioner, and active meditative painter. 

My preferred methods of expression are photography and painting, however I enjoy playing with other mediums including embroidery, sewing, knitting, and jewelry making. I'm a marketing professional with a degree in Graphic Design however I've always been an artist at heart.

​Meditative Art became more prominent in my life following 2020 and the decline of my own personal mental health. ​I've found Meditative Art to be an authentic medicine to calming both my mind and my body and I'm thrilled to share my experiences with you.
