1. Add chicken and seasoning to crockpot - Place chicken breast into crockpot, ensuring the chicken is fully submerged in chicken broth, and add all seasonings (garlic, black pepper, lemon-pepper seasoning, parsley). Optional: lightly cook chicken in saucepan for 5-10 minutes prior to placing into crockpot to ensure chicken is fully cooked before consuming.
2. Add lemon and tomatoes - Slice half of the lemon and use the natural juice to add flavor to the chicken. Leave lemon slices in crockpot for additional flavor. Add diced tomatoes to crockpot.
3. Cook - Make sure crockpot is at a low setting and cook for 4-5 hours.
4. Add to pasta - Bring pasta to a boil on the stovetop once you’re ready to eat and serve with chicken. Optional: add a splash of olive oil and parsley flakes to the pasta before adding chicken.
