Frequently Asked Questions
How much is it?
Each class will depend on the number of students, however we like to aim for $35 per person, per class. More intensive paintings or materials may present additional charges.
How many people can I host in a painting party?
Due to limited supplies, up to 12 people may be hosted at one time.
How do we choose what to paint?
You can browse our gallery for ideas and inspiration. If you have a specific idea in mind for a more personalized painting, you're welcome to share with us.
If I find a painting somewhere else (ie. Pinterest), can we copy it?
We don't recommend using other artworks as reference, at the risk any copyright infringement. To avoid this, we're open to any photos or ideas you have on your own or you can take a look at our gallery for inspiration.
What if I don't like my painting?
The creative process has a phase in which you may end up hating your painting (that's okay!). It's completely normal to have a love/hate relationship with your artwork. If you're unhappy with your painting, you can gift it to a friend, try again on a new canvas, or paint over it to make something new. This is your artwork and you're welcome to do what you'd like with it. Even if you're unhappy with the end result.
I'm not an artist. Can I still paint?
Yes! We believe everyone is an artist in their own way. We each have our own unique eye to see things and interpret them differently. Fortunately, our painting classes are tailored to fit a wide range of skill levels and creative styles.

A few things to keep in mind:
- Some paints can be permanent, even after washing. It's important to wear clothing that can be painted.
- Each class can take 2-3 hours depending on the painting. Make sure you've also allowed enough time for the paint to dry.
- Be kind to yourself and trust the process. If your work looks different than the teacher's or your peers, IT'S OKAY! You are an artist in your own way and there is no wrong way to express yourself. If you have any questions, it's okay to ask.
- Paintings are interpretations. It doesn't need to look realistic or stylized. You're encouraged to paint in your own style.
- You're welcome to adjust the paintings to whatever you'd like them to be. If you want something to be blue instead of green, go for it! This is YOUR painting.
